1. What do you use your carrier for? Name all the activities you use it for (ALL activities).
Small Corperation Fleet support, A Mobile platform in space to Refit, Rearm and hop in another ship. Pvp support for small groups, Logistically and Fipowery (fighters that is)
2. How much support do you feel you should need when you field your carrier for combat when going against a gang of 3? A gang of 5? A gang of 10? A gang of 50?
Carriers sould have some kinda support at all times, but also should be able to lay out some hurt on small gangs, Capital = really big
3. Do you think you should be able to go 1 vs 5 and win? How about 1 v 10? In other words, how many people do you believe you should be able to kill alone taking ship types into consideration. How many BS/BC's/Cruisers/Etc?
I hear of people loosing carriers all the time to very small well fitted and organised groups. If they can organise and take it out they deserve the kill
4. Do you believe that you should be able to kill a large amount of ships simply because you spent a lot of money and skill time for the ship, regardless of it's designed role (this does not just include carriers)?

5. Do you believe carriers have too little (solo) firepower, too much, or just enough?
Too little, assuming you can only launch fighters, perhaps give it 3 assorted bs weapon hardpoints based on race ship. with 200% damage bonus. after all if a ship is gonna be big give its some standing on own ground for those who fly it aimlessly into battle where it should be.
6. What do you believe a carriers role is?
Carrier. Fighter support, and mobile fleet maintenance
7. Do you believe the carrier achieves this role through it's current abilities?
Not as well as it should. The Starship hangar is too small, the corperation hangar is too small and so is the cargobay. Repair wise it does great. tank wise its awesome. It should have some kind of Gunz or missiles. and being a gigantic ship be resistant hevily to most forms of electronic warfare like Dampening, webbing and scrambling. its a bit unrealistic that an interceptor could generate an energy net large enough to encoumpass a carrier. and i would assume underneath the hundreds of meters of armor there would lie some kinda of scramble protection.
8. What would you change about the carrier if this drone change came into effect? Increased Repair Range? Increased Repair Amount? A Triage buff to allow control of the 5 fighters/drones you're able to deploy? The ability to control 5 additional fighters/drones if Triage Mode is activated? Less Cap needed for self rep/remote rep? (add what you believe would be a change worthy of the suggested drone change)
First Give the carriers some kinda old fasion weapons, in triage it should still be able to defend its self.
Next if you changing fighter deployment systems, Perhaps by increasing the amount of fighters it can hold and deploy to gang members greater. A carrier after all should be swarming with fighters. 10 seems kinda not that much of a swarm. the ship exists to assign your minions to your buddies to do your bidding.
Triage mode seems fine the way it is.
And no i would not quit eve over some gripy complaint of changed systems. im sure something equally badass will come about i can aimlessly throw SP at.
